Updates!

This blog is really, dead. hahaha. Hello everyone! Decided to update the blog after such a long time. Sixth form life is really busy, I don't even know what I am doing, I mean like, school ends in the afternoon and you go home really tired and all you can think about is basically, sleep. Then after your afternoon nap, which lasts about 4hours for me, you have to do your one big pile of homework, then by the time you know it, it's already bed time. You don't have time for anything else at all, unless your time management is well. hahaha.
First of all,

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO FIFAH!
one of us turned a year older again! All the best for A'lvls and enjoy the lunch later ! ehehehe.

So, recently, we gave Khalaf a birthday surprise party. This is the first birthday party that was planned by one of us, and didn't fail. haha. Glad that it went really well. For now, there are no pictures, because the internet is being such a pain in the ass. HAHA. It will be uploaded in the next post, hopefully, no promises :(

So, how are you guys? I hope you're all fine. haha. The girl's are going out later,15-6-13, without my sis and I because, we're not in Brunei T_____T. But that's okay. hehe. And I just came back from the Temburong trip not long ago. It's a really nice place to escape to. I mean, during the trip, I feel really relaxed with my family and cousins. Even walked on the canopy walk, which was a very amazing experience and I also tried water rafting as well as floating in the river. ( It was my first time jumping off a boat into the river !! )

again, no pictures :( I'm so sorry!!

and here's some pictures from our Reunion dinner which was held in March.

ok. The only few pictures that I can upload out of like, I don't know, 10+ of them? Hahaha. Anyway, i'm really tired now. Till the next post! See you guys!!

College Life @ PTE Katok

Hello readers!

Sorry for the long hiatus... Keeping up with blogging is a hard task. Anyways, today I'm here to blog about my life in college, a.k.a. my life in PTE Katok. PTE Katok is located at Katok (duh) and it's also, a school in the middle of no where. I've been there for more than 2 months and it's a fine school. In college, unless you have chosen subjects similar to your friends', you're a loner. I'm serious, it's where you learn that you have to do everything on your own. I am usually walking to class alone, it's not that I've not made any friends, I did but I'm just not close to them. And this is where the 'I miss my highschool friends' part comes in.

Although it has been 2 months, I still feel like I need more time to fit in. Haha. Our college's sport's day is on 27th May 2013. I'm in Blue house together with Atiah and my sis is in Yellow. Yes, I'm still in Cornwall!! Blue pride for the win. So, are you ready for a ride through Katok? HAHA. Just kidding. I'm just gonna post some pictures of the school.

I'm going to post a pic of my sis and I in tudong as well. Just incase you haven't seen me in tudong... 'cause I've always refuse to take pictures when I'm in tudong... I just feel so hideous in it. :( Juniors, one piece of advice, enjoy your tudong-less life cause you're gonna miss it so much. Being able to flip and slap people with your pony tail, having the chance to let air blow directly to your neck. You'll miss it. :( So for today's special, a picture of my sis and I in tudong.

After a year of obeying my mom's "NO BASKETBALL", I finally started playing basketball again!!! My sis and I played basketball last Thursday. My PS (personal study) block is in the afternoon for every Thursday and I officially wasted one day of my PS block. Thursday is the ONLY day I get to nap in the afternoon. T.T Fortunately, Mr Maxim said our trainings will hopefully be on Wednesday this week. I'm really excited to play 'cause last week's training went well. Made some new friends and of course had some really good fun. Been a year since I played basketball so my shooting kinda sucks now but it's all fine 'cause it'll be back in no time. :D

I am gonna post 2 pictures today because I didn't take much pictures of the school. Usually I just take pictures of what I'm eating/doing/done/happening and send it to the girls. Yeap, we still keep in touch. Soulsisters for ever and ever yo. HAHA.

For the next post, I think my sis is going to blog about our reunion with the whole class. Hopefully I will update after her again because I just realised we haven't blogged about Sandy's Farewell Surprise Party. HAHA.

Alright, till here for today. Cheerio~

college life

Hello, my precious. >:-)

As promised, here is the post about my experience in PTEM so far. Basically, I got accepted for the first cohort (if you haven't figured that out yet) I was rather doubtful at first as to whether I should accept it or not but I did in the end. I mean hey, if you have an opportunity, why not?

I felt like a zombie on the first day of school because I couldn't sleep at all the night before (I was out late at night partying lol jks but srsly tho) but literally, I did not have any sleep whatsoever. The moment I was about to fall asleep was the moment my alarm rang. So yeah.

Knowing me, I was practically freaking out in public and of course the people I call friends pretended, or shall I say, decided to not acknowledge my existence in order to keep their 'cool' (except Syaza and Firzanah. They were nice HAHA) I couldn't help it okay. I didn't have any sleep, my adrenal glands decided to secrete an abnormally large amount of adrenaline in my veins so I was panicking AND I was having a culture shock.

I've never seen so many Malays in my life. No offense.

Anyway, other than that, things went smoothly for the following week. I mean, despite getting lost in an insanely huge building that's maybe five times the size of SAS, being really unobservant towards my surroundings resulting me bumping into the senior art students' art sculptures various of times, the amount of homework we get and maybe humiliating myself and everyone seen hanging around with me (poor them) in front of everyone else due to my guffaw of a laugh, college life is good so far. YES!

But unless some miracle happens and hell freezes, I'm still awkward as ever. Hence I've only made around three new friends.

And here's a few pictures involving PTEM (kind of)

Hanis, Lyana and I being sakai on our first day. Syaz wasn't with us because she was still in KL

This is a only a PART of the school. The building is just too damn long ok

the food available at the canteen are mostly unhealthily good but at least we have sushi...

It's nice attending a college that's in the middle of nowhere. No traffic. No congestion. No rush hours. The facilities are great. The teachers are not so bad themselves. People are friendly once you get to know them (lol I should probably socialise outside my usual group a bit more) Plus it's located near the beach so whenever you feel like escaping school...... LOL NO. I'M NOT BADASS ENOUGH. SORRY.

As I was saying, I feel like I'm in Narnia or something.

By the way, good luck to those starting college at Katok tomorrow!! *cough* twins *cough* Be prepared for a bit of chaos and whatnot. :-)

Truth

everything's not the same anymore.

I'm like an erupting volcano, but no biggies, the tsunami tides in my eyes will wash it away. No hate and judgement tho. spread the love people.

Bittersweet Goodbyes

What's up people!!! First for most, Merry (belated) Christmas from me, Huiling, and the rest of the soulsisters!! How was your Christmas? Fun ? Hahaha. Christmas was fun for me this year and indeed, it was full of surprises.

27th Dec 2012, our friend, Yen flew off to Australia for his studies. It was a very bittersweet departure. Like everyone else, I didn't want Yen to leave. But, it is what's best for him and his future. His flight was at 12.45pm but we were already at the airport before 10am so we went to Jolibee/Delifrance for breakfast while waiting for Yen.

Yen's guy friends went, a lot of them. If anyone of the guys were to tear up, I definitely will accompany him. I was already at the edge. I felt extra weight added on my chest and I was breathing rather normally. We took lots of pictures till the groups of Indons and Indians thought Yen was a celebrity. It was really rude of one Indon when he took our (the soulsister and Yen) picture. Further more, he ran just right after he took the picture of us. But no worries, Syaz, being the bravest among all of us, told one of the police officer on duty and the Indon erased all the pictures of us that he took.

I went back home early 'cause my mom was around that area and she was alone. LOL. Sorry but there's no pictures here to be uploaded cause it's all on Instagram. Hahaha. Follow me @huiling_ or any other soulsisters' account and you'll find out more!

Other than that, I went to KK for a sweet memorable holiday sensation~ OHYEA. And if you know me well, it simply means SHOPPING TILL MY LEGS COME OFF. But this time I didn't really shop much cause I went there only for 4 days and 3 nights. One day was spent for a good time at the beach. I went to Pulau Sapi (Sapi Island) and it's a good place for snorkling. My next destination would be Mermaid Island, which takes about 2hrs to reach from the bay.

There were a lot of Koreans this time, my sis even took a pic of the korean baby. Can't blame her, he's one cute baby. HAHA. We went from 9.30 am till 3pm. It was bloody hot in the morning but dark clouds covered up the sky before 3pm. After the beach, we went back to the apartment to change and clean up. Guess what's next? Shopping of course! I only saw Fi on the last day there. HAHA. We didn't take a picture cause I was too busy shopping for shoes. LOL

Now, enough of my blabbing.

If you're thinking that I'm using my 550D, you're wrong. A DSLR is very bulky and heavy though it has an awesome lens and macro effect. I brought my Canon PowerShot SX40 HS with me on the trip this time.. again. HAHA. I brought it when I went to KL in Form4(2011) and Sibu in Form5(2012). The thing I like about this camera is it's FishEye lens. Other than that, it's ability to zoom in really far away unlike my DSLR which can zoom in only a few cm away. Besides, it can function like one DSLR. Hehe. I was really reluctant to leave KK, I guess everyone gets that feeling when the vacation is over. But I'm looking forward to go KK again even though I've been there more than 10 times in my life. HAHA. I go KK more often than I go back to my own hometown, shame to say.

When I came back, I went to cut my hair. Yeap, I'm no longer having a long-lengthy hair. Now it's back to short-length hair HuiLing, just like in Form3(2010). HAHA. I just thought it's been awhile I'm with the same hair, about 3 years now, it's time for a change. Change is good but being yourself is what matters. :)

Last but not least, I wish you a prosperous year ahead and have a great new year! May 2013 be another great year! I wish as we, the soulsisters, go our own ways we will be closer than yesterday!

Alright, till next time, cheerio!

Jesus' birthday and womb emancipations

Damn it, I wanted to post this earlier but ugh, it's already the 26th >:-(

Hohohohohoho anyway,

merry (belated) Christmas, ya filthy animals and a happy new year!

Yes, that was a Home Alone reference (as seen below) You gotta love Home Alone.

Besides the festivity, food and presents, I'd just like to wish a belated womb emancipation day to Syazana, Jasmine and Sandra. Three lovely ladies who have hit the big 1 7. The outings so far were great! Welcome to the club, guys ;-)

Prom 2012

Syazana, Wen Ling, Hui Ling, Afifah, Lyana, Gemima, Sandra, Meeza, Jasmine, Si Theng. (missing: Azirah)

After graduation, Graduation Dinner (Prom) was held the next day in the evening at Rizqun Hotel which started around 6.30 pm till 11 pm. Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous and handsome that night along with their dates as they walked into the ballroom. well its the only night where everyone can dressed up to kill and impress. The girls were all dolled up to match their beautiful dresses and the boys were with suits hoping to make the girls swoon over them. We absolutely had an awesome night and it was well spent.

There were three performances made by Rirah, Armin (our senior) and also our friends. Prom was hosted by Akram and Yassamin (also our senior). Everyone danced like there was no tomorrow on the dance floor once the Best Dress, Best Couple, Mr and Ms SAS was announced. The *single* Soulsisters danced together while the *couple* danced with their dates ofcourse. Not forgetting! There was also slow dancing on the dance floor which also aaaamaaazzziiiingggg. every one of the soulsisters were asked to dance and we were taken by surprise.
one of the craziest yet memorable night to definitely remember in our lives, but one thing was missing; and that was Azirah. she couldnt make it that night cos she flew off to KL for the holiday. Actually before, prom was cancelled bcos of a certain reason. but thankfully with the help of the Principal and also Mrs Shafee, we managed to plan it again and it was back on. Ofcos, it would be even more fun with Azirah being there with us and dancing crazily on the dance floor with us.

one of the songs that were played was Gangnam Style and as usual, everyone did the signature dance on the dance floor and even on stage! especially the boys. the lights were out and the ballroom was filled with darkness yet we all had fun dancing in the dark and laughter filled the ballroom too. i was relieved no one stepped on one's dress, or else.... *badumtsss* what adds even more was the glow sticks that were thrown to us when the lights went out.

There was two photographers to capture the moments, eventho they came late (thats ok, maybe bcos of the lack of parking spaces) everyone was not shy to get their photo taken. honestly, i'm glad no one was shy at all to dance. now that shows how comfortable everyone was with each other. As the event ended, everyone took pictures together, shared laughter and said their last goodbyes with hugs.

After prom, an APP was held after. most of us didnt go cos we all had a reasonable reasons even if we really wanna go. In the end, only Syazana and Sandra stayed for the night along with the others who did. Wen Ling, Hui Ling, Jasmine, Si Theng, Sandra, Syazana, Lyana and myself went to the room after prom to just check out the room and get their stuffs. we stayed until 11.30/12.30.
After all of it was over, all of us wished to have another Prom bcos its the best night of our lives. Its one of those nights where you dont have to think about anything else except having fun with your best friends at all! Everyone didnt have enough of it. So anyways, i think thats all i have to say. Heres some pictures that were taken from the night. Enjoy!
